The shoe is characterized by its almond-toe and bedazzled buckle. Handmade in Italy, the shoe’s material is leather in the upper, sole, and inner lining.
The shoe is classic and timeless. In my opinion, it is very formal-looking. I don’t see this shoe being worn very often except during special occasions.
Are the The Shoes a Good Investment?
These shoes are very well made. The one I purchased are made by hand and made of leather. You can buy the ones I wore on my wedding here.
Manolo Blahnik Hangisi’s are a classic, designer style. I don’t foresee them ever going out of fashion anytime soon. If you choose to buy these, you are likely to wear them for years to come.
As a fashion investment, I’d say they are worth it. You are bound to pair these shoes with many dresses and outfits.
Will My Manolo Blahnik Hangisi’s Be A Good Bridal Shoe?
YES! These shoes are so popular as bridal shoes and for good reason. They are gorgeous, elegant, and classic. Further, I love how they look in “details” wedding photos, such as the photo above.
When I wore the Hangisi’s at my wedding, I felt so luxurious. Which bride wouldn’t want to feel their very best on her wedding day?
Not to mention, I found these shoes to be quite comfortable and I was able to walk around the reception room to say hello to all of the guests as well as party on the dance floor!
There are several other styles, materials, and fabrics in the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi line. Some brides opt for blue shoes to fulfill the “something blue” tradition. This option is made of satin, pictured below.
Personally, I went for a classic, white shoe with silver details.
Another beautiful option are the white, satin Hangisi’s with a blue detail on the toe. It’s another fun and subtle way to incorporate something blue on your wedding day!

Will You Wear Your Hangisi’s After The Wedding Day?
You may be wondering before you buy a $1300 bridal shoe if you will ever wear them again. Otherwise, it seems like a bit of a waste to buy something so expensive that you will only wear one time.
When one considers cost-per-wear, a lot of purchases made for weddings are just going to be worn once. I.e. your wedding dress…as you know, a lot of brides spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on their gowns that will only be worn once. Although this seems quite extravagant, at the same time, weddings are indeed a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. The cost is very justifiable.
Nonetheless, before purchasing your Hangisi’s, you may still want to be as economically-conscious and environmentally-aware as possible.
In my opinion, you will wear your Hangisi’s again after your wedding.
I plan to wear mine on every anniversary and on other special occasions.

Let me tell you, I absolutely love satin dresses right now. I find them so sexy but classic all at the same time.
This look is so timeless, classy, and elegant.
Pair the dress with some silver jewelry to tie it all together. The jewelry pictured above is from a brand called Elle.
2. Lilac Slip Dress
This purple dress from Reformation is such a stunner! I don’t even feel like it is too long for my petite, 5’3″ frame.
I think the Hangisi’s look gorgeous with the lilac silk. Further, it elevates the dress for a formal occasion. This is another great option to wear as a wedding guest.
3. White Dress With Silver Rhinestones
This dress by designer Rebecca Vallance and it is the perfect pairing with white Manolo Blahnik Hangisi’s! The white and silver combo is a wonderful look for any bride-to-be, but it can be worn for other occasions as well. Some other events you can wear this look to include a New Year’s Party, a nice dinner, or on your anniversary!
